Earl Quentin Mark Hunter was educated at Selborne College and went on to become a Lieutenant in the South African Navy. He qualified as a lawyer by attaining his Degree – Bachelor of Laws at the University of Cape Town in 1986 and subsequently founded E.Q.M. Hunter Attorneys in 1993.
He was very much involved in the establishment and foundation of the legal framework for the entertainment industry in South Africa and has represented some of the top celebrities and artists during the course of their careers when negotiating major recording, on camera and studio contracts, inclusive of high net worth buyout contracts.
