Giles Buswell attained his BSC at Rhodes University in 1983, his LLB at Rhodes University in 1986 and his LLM (TAX) at the University of Cape Town in 1997.
In 1987 he was admitted as an Advocate in the Transvaal Provincial Division and in 1991 he was admitted as an Attorney in the Cape of Good Hope Provincial Division in 1991. The same year he commenced practice for his own account in partnership with John Peter Henkes and in 1995 he was admitted as a Conveyancer in the Cape of Good Hope Provincial Division. Giles is a Director of a number of private companies and Trustee of several trusts.
He specialises in property law and conveyancing (including the registration of mortgage bonds, notarial deed and Antenuptial Contracts) and all aspects of financial risk management including estate planning, tax planning, wills and trusts.
He has been appointed supervising Attorney in Anton Pillar Applications by the Cape of Good Hope Provincial Division on at least two occasions and is presently a part of the management team of E.Q.M. Hunter.
